Great interview. The book tells it all, I was a contributor to I Put A Spell on you: The Bizarre Life of Screamin' Jay Hawkins since I was Hawkins guitarist back in the 70's. Steve Bergsman book is right on. Tells it all. Written with all the crazy history of this great artist Screamin' Jay Hawkins. There is nothing like it. A shocking book.

To keep Screamin' Jays music alive I have formed the Resurrection of Screamin' Jay Hawkins Band. Resurrection of Screamin' Jay Hawkins Tribute Band performs live shows taking you back in time to the music of Screamin' Jay Hawkins. This project is comprised of extremely talented and seasoned musicians. Mike Armando was the original guitarist for Screamin' Jay Hawkins back in the 1970's. Another reason this project is exciting. The band is not just performing the music of Screamin' Jay Hawkins but creating a time machine of one of rock’s true wild men. A show you will surely remember for many years.
